Hi Alison,

I use a MP3 recorder, a Pocket PC PDA and a PC Tablet, where I can write on
the screen. I previously used a tape recorder, with a counter.

One thing you need to ask the person involved is how they intend to listen
and store the information for future use. Some MP3 recorders record only
record in single sessions, and not multiple ones. Some only record with on
and off, others are Voice Activated. Some have to be converted for storage
and others can be down loaded into a computer. There is also the problem of
10 hour of recording means 10 hours of play back, and if you are using the
recorder every day, you then have to listen or down load, before the next
days classes.

What I find most useful is a MP3 voice recorder, that has Voice Activation,
that will last for 10 hours and that you can down load and store the file
onto the computer for later use and replay.

I use one from a company called JNC

There is a Store in the City that I called "Gifted Friendly", because they
help sponsor me with cheaper equipment, that I use in the out reach stuff
to other Gifted people. You might be able to score a discount from them, I
can try and set it up and ask if you wish, they are located in the middle
of sydney though.

Regards
Tony
