It's important for gifted kids to learn how to fail: to pick themselves
up and get back on track: perhaps you could mention that usually she's
lucky, being gifted, that she 'just knows' things, but that it's
important also, to learn how to deal with 'not knowing'?
This 'failure' may rankle now, but It will stand her in good stead
later on in life, I'm sure!
