Can she talk to the other child's parent and the teachers involved?
Because ASD is so varied in presentation, it's really hard to recommend
generic resources. I've got 2 kids on the spectrum and what would work
with one, would lead to a major drama with the other child.

If she can't talk to the other parties who are involved, I'd probably do
a behavioural analysis with her son to identify just what is setting off
the situations. I'd talk to him about what he is doing and how he can
change that but acknowledging there is probably very little he can do to
change the reactions of the other child. Maybe talk about theory of mind.
