this happened with our son when we pushed for
extension work.... they had a combined maths system
for the k-2... problem was it only went to year 2
work... so all the kids doing year 2 work couldnt work
any further ahead....and then when they got to year 3
everyone did the same work ( which might have meant
that some year3 kids were still doing kindy work and
others already completed all the year 2 stuff and had
figured out year 6 work at home)....
