LOL -- I thought this was a common problem among men of any age, and
all teenagers...

Yep -- a teacher friend with a gifted daughter tells me that they're
just starting to see kids who have been to coaching college in
*pre-school*. The poor kids have been flashcarded within an inch of
their lives and their parents assert that they can read. Well, yes,
the kids can rap out the word on the card, but they can't read real
sentences at all. Rather different from L and probably a lot of the
other Oz-Gifted children!
