LOL, my husband and are gifted (we don't know to what extent -- never
been tested) and our elder son is. Our 9mo baby is showing signs of
intelligence too -- his apparently unusual alertness has been
commented on, but he seems just like our elder boy to us!
Hubby and I have the easily-managed type of giftedness that
translates to academic achievement, and we have easygoing
personalities. I'm not a very girly girl and hubby is not a
cars-and-Bunnings man, but I don't think we're *peculiar* in any way!
We don't have any LDs, although I do wonder whether my motor skills
(or lack of them!) fall within the normal range.
I also know a large number of gifted people who seem normal to me,
but it might all be rank self-deception on my part!
