LOL, my husband and are gifted (we don't know to what extent -- never 
been tested) and our elder son is.  Our 9mo baby is showing signs of 
intelligence too -- his apparently unusual alertness has been 
commented on, but he seems just like our elder boy to us!

Hubby and I have the easily-managed type of giftedness that 
translates to academic achievement, and we have easygoing 
personalities.  I'm not a very girly girl and hubby is not a 
cars-and-Bunnings man, but I don't think we're *peculiar* in any way! 
We don't have any LDs, although I do wonder whether my motor skills 
(or lack of them!) fall within the normal range.

I also know a large number of gifted people who seem normal to me, 
but it might all be rank self-deception on my part!
