L did the WSPPI-III yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it (as did the 
counsellor).  It was interesting going over the details of the 
testing with her -- and we identified an error in the process!

The counsellor's report ends: "...in the Very Superior Range of 
intellectual ability.  L will need an individual education plan that 
caters for his learning in 2007."  And that's what I wanted to see.

The Learning Support Team will meet (next week) to discuss the 
possibilities, and I've already put my suggestions in.  The 
counsellor says that his personality and enthusiasm are such that 
teachers will be prepared to go the extra mile for him.  So far, so 
good.  It will be interesting to see what they come up with.
