[Oz-gifted] tests in the public & private system

Fin,

I will do so. But I don't think it is my role to educate these people, but 
feel I have to, just to reach any common ground. I recently attended a 
GERRIC Rural and Remote workshop in my area and went back to  the school 
armed with all the latest literature and statistics. By the way there are 46 
worshops that  will be held throughout Australia in 06/07. The one I 
attended was brilliant.  I have been lending out the book and handing out 
info ever since. The workshop has given me the confidence to avoid being 
sidetracked with common myths such as "accleralation will damage your child 
socially and emotionally" and instead steer the conversation back to facts 
and evidence. Thanks GERRIC.
