I wonder just what they are trying to achieve with their new name?

On anecdote I heard recently was about a school in Sydney

... extreme political correctness that is being forced on the teachers 
by the new principal.

You cannot say "Don't interrupt".  You must say something like "Please 
share the
listening space." (Truly!) And for "Move a bit so so-and-so can see" it's
now "Please share the visual space."

And they wonder why children look at them with scorn and disrespect.
