Um, no.  He's the child who, when asked what he likes at school, 
says, "Everything!"  Can you guess that I am happy about the school?

He loves pencil-puzzles of any kind -- he likes the Quiz-Kids books 
from the supermarket "for smart kids aged 7-11" (!) and loves Uno. 
He's starting to understand chess, so the logical thinking is coming 
along.  I suspect (though I am not sure; perhaps other can tell me) 
that we are waiting for a developmental leap to occur wrt inference.

I suppose there would be different goals for language, comprehension, 
written expression etc.  Off to look at the syllabus documents 
again...
