interested in investigating home education and the Home education
association (http://www.hea.asn.au/ ) conferences are currently on
in several states. Several have already been held but the Sydney,

There will be two speakers from overseas as well as workshops and
information and a trade fair.
The keynote speakers are:-
John Taylor Gatto
John Taylor Gatto was named New York State Teacher of the Year in
1990. He used the occasion to resign from teaching, outlining his
reasons in his acceptance speech. One of his reasons was that,
“[School] kills the family by monopolizing the best times of
childhood and by teaching disrespect for home and parents.”
