Actually, that's only because I sent an email to the ABC pointing out the
error and they corrected the story.

They corrected the body text, and change the heading. The heading used to be
the same as on this subject thread, i.e.
  "Aussie becomes youngest chess 'Grand Master'"
and they changed it to:
  "Student becomes youngest Aussie chess GM"

If you look at this Google news search
http://news.google.com.au/news?hl=en&tab=wn&ned=au&ie=UTF-8&ncl=1127205492
you can see that Google is still caching the old erroneous news heading of
"Aussie becomes youngest chess 'Grand Master'" (dated January 31) whereas
the new story is dated February 1.
