[Oz-teachers] Plagarism

Let me see know. The majority of all contributors to this forum all would have passed through high school and uni. Can anyone on this forum truthfully say that they havent used one spick or speck of plagarism during this time, especially when it came down to the last minute completion of that dreaded assignment, i can say that i have and might i say that i got a lower mark higher mark than the original.. 
 
I think as teachers YES we should take a stand on the issue to a degree, BUT always remember in the back of your mind the you did at sometime plagaris sometime in your own education. 
 
Think about it for a bit before you all become power driven teachers. I fthe child can explain what he/she has presented and to the criteria then it deserves a mark, if he/she hands in something he/she can't explain or for that matter understand then no mark should be given.
