Thanks Peter, Rod and Garry for your suggestions.
Iphoto looks good - nice interface and looks intuitive - but don't have a Mac yet. Downloaded something from sourceforge but couldn't make any sense of the files. Will have another look when I have more time/patience. Download.com doesn't have much that is free. So I think I'll persevere with the software that came with the scanner.

Well, yes, it does work.I'll have a look at some document managers also, as recommended by Peter.RodOn 28/10/2007, at 9:52 PM, Rod Hysted wrote:Christine,ACCESS is definitely not Mac compatible.I reckon that iphoto could be leveraged to do this, add appropriate tags etc, and search. I have Access database but not sure if suitable.
Thanks

Will you need to edit them?
What formats will your scanner do?
Do you have Ocr software?
Do you have a suitable database?

I want to get rid of some paper and would like to scan some worksheets to be stored digitally. Just wondering if others have done this and if so, how have they organised it. I haven't used databases much but I'm thinking this could be a good way to go. Does anyone have any ideas?
It would be good if storage solution was compatible with Macs (currently using Windows XP).

Christine
