Paul,

I've used both wikispaces & pbworks. Both of them are pretty simple to  
use. I'd say that wikispaces tends to be the choice of most as regards  
true sharing. You can have multiple  users for the whole wiki and each  
one could have their own space on there too.

My pbworks site is basically just me using it to share websites with  
other staff at school. The wikispaces I used with my class and another  
in Scotland - so it had to be simple to use and able to have many  
members.
