That sounds right to me... I guess the edges would be the bit you would hurt yourself on if it bumped into it in the dark.  The faces the flat bits that would do less damage :)  What about the pointy bit at the top of the cone? Is it not an edge because it is just the bit where the face is turned in on itself and not joining two faces?

The example of the elephant and a dog is nice... I like those 'false proofs' or whatever they are called.  Like... if God is Love and Love is blind, and Ray Charles is Blind, then Ray Charles = God.

I didn't set out to hijack this thread...but anyone else have any funny ones?  It feels like Friday...I need some humour! :)
