For reasons best known only to themselves, King William's College on the Isle of Man releases a  "General Knowledge" quiz each year. The new one is out now.

For bonus points, perhaps an extra question could be "where might any of this knowledge prove useful?"  :-)
 
It does, however, show that factual questions can be worded so that they are not easy to answer using Google.
