[Oz-teachers] One Ronnie - My Blackberry is not working

My father just dropped past so I could track down some missing emails. When
he retired a decade ago that he knew nothing about computers and is now
weaving our family together with some interesting digital strings with his
own laptop. Whilst he doesn't always understand jargon, I get some strange
requests such as

   - "There is a hole in the Internet that gobbled up your sister's message,
can you please get it back for me and fill in the hole?",
   - "The top button has fallen off the Thunderbird, and now the entire
Dutch language has disappeared. Can you help type it back in?"
   - "If my brother parks another tractor in the driveway (read uncompressed
raw scan of a big photo) I'll mail him back a real one."

That said, I am really proud of what he has learned, inventing his own
language and conceptual understanding of how it works.

Regards Roland
